Objectives

Fundacion México en Harvard was established to provide financial support to Mexican students accepted to any graduate degree at Harvard University.
By strengthening these students’ access to Harvard University, Fundacion Mexico en Harvard is investing in the future of our nation and on the development of Mexican leaders.

The Fundación was born as an initiative to strengthen Harvard’s international relations, where it focused on twelve countries including Mexico. Since its foundation it has increased the number of Mexican students accepted at Harvard, as well as research projects related to Mexico.

Our specific goals are the following:

  1. Increase the number of Mexican students and researchers applying for graduate study at Harvard University.
  2. Provide partial financial support, in addition to other public and private institutions in Mexico, to pursue graduate study at the different schools of Harvard.
  3. Provide scholarship support to a Mexican professor or researcher to conduct research related to education in Mexico at the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard University.

Depending on available funds the Fundación will support research projects at the different schools of Harvard.
