MBA Scholarship

We must acknowledge the invaluable contribution being made to the Fundación by an anonymous donor who had the vision and wisdom to recognize the need for stronger support for HBS-MBA students from Mexico. The two years of leadership practice immersed in real-world challenges amongst a diverse community of colleagues and faculty reflecting a wealth of talents, beliefs, and backgrounds, will prepare these talented students for the challenges in any functional area—and for contribution to Mexico in a very tangible way.

General Parameters and Requirements:

1. The student must be a citizen or permanent resident of Mexico.

2. The student must have been accepted to Harvard University for graduate study in the MBA Program of Harvard Business School.

3. Candidates must demonstrate economic need.

4. The award may be granted in the form of a scholarship or loan at the discretion of the Scholarship
Committee of the Fundación.

5. The award will be of US$25,000 per year.

It is important to note the student is required contractually to return to Mexico upon graduation or upon completion of a period of "practical training" of a maximum of two (2) years. Should the student choose not to return, all support received from the Fundación is to be reimbursed fully.

The Fundación will determine the recipient based upon the established priorities for the award.
